Overview

At the centre of our portfolio is RTM Analyzer, our Java-based, library-style software platform. RTM Analyzer is a kind of building set for real-time analysis solutions, comprising different modules with complementary functionality. According to your requirements we configure and connect the modules required for your application. We additionally develop application-dependent components like management cockpits or specific backup interfaces. You as customer only pay for the required functionality which can be problem-free extended by additional modules.

Three Steps to your invidual CEP Solution

Following the illustration above, the development of your tailored CEP solution consists of three steps:

Data integration: Using our flexible RTM adapters, we connect your data sources to RTM Analyzer. RTM provides adapters for a plethora of data sources, e.g. files, databases, sockets, JMS, web services, SNMP, OPC DA

Data analysis: We offer you different interfaces to specify the business logic underlying the realtime analysis of your streams. You can either specify the business logic via SQL in a textual manner or, similar to workflows, in a visual manner. Besides the specification of own business logic, you can also exploit pre-defined business logic stored in the system. We also provide different techniques from the area of data mining and statistics which can be applied to derive mathematically well-founded knowledge from the data, e.g. about the value distribution.

Data presentation: The analysis results are processed according to your requirements. Besides the continuous visualization within management cockpits, we can also store the results in databases or direct them to external applications.

Powerful CEP Engine

In order to cope with the demanding requirements of typical CEP applications, we optimized RTM with regard to performance and scalability. The main innovation of RTM Analyzer is the provision of well-established database functionality for data analysis without using a database internally, which would adversely affect the performance. RTM Analyzer can process a few 100.000 events per second, while traditional database systems only achieve 100 events per second under comparable conditions. RTM Analyzer also leverages multicore CPUs effectively by making extensively use of multithreading.

Enterprise Features

To avoid you worrying about the stability of your CEP application, you can also run it in a redundant manner. We also provide a novel migration technology which allows you to migrate running business logic on-the-fly to other computers; thus you can easily execute maintenance jobs or balance load among different computers.

System Specification

RTM Analyzer is written in 100% pure Java. We particularly took care of flexible interfaces so that RTM Analyzer can be seamlessly integrated into your complex and heterogeneous IT landscape. The concrete requirements with respect to CPU, RAM etc. depend on your application and its resource consumption.
